We will be hosting a forum for the position of State Chair of the Texas Republican party on Wednesday June 2nd.  This person plays a key role in how the Republican party is run in Texas.  It is critical that a conservative be elected to this position that is in tune with our values.  Many of our AFIIG members were able to become delegates or alternates to the state convention and therefore we are continuing our mission of getting the candidates in front of the voters.  The three candidates are listed below.

Return the Government to the People!

We are looking to unite all grassroots groups that are like minded. We need to come together to be a powerful voice. United we stand and divided we fall.  We call all grassroots groups to unite under a common umbrella so that we can effectively have a unison voice.  We believe many issues can be resolved through unity.

In doing this we must focus on a few key areas.

1.  Restore integrity, honesty and transparency to all levels of  government.

We believe we can unite under Honesty, Integrity, and Transparency. Identify and elect leaders with honesty and integrity.  Integrity is a firm adherence to a basic code of conduct.  Remove the corruption and the peoples' voices shall be heard.   We want our government to be fully transparent.  No hidden agendas and no complicated legislation that is deceptive.  Only take on that which is for the common good of our country.

2.  Restore the state's rights listed in the Bill of Rights

We need to regain state sovereignty.  Solidify the 10th Amendment under the Bill of Rights.  The people can have a more effective voice under a Republic form of government.  The states can more effectively legislate common concerns and issues within each state.

3.  Promote fair taxation of all citizens

Taxation is the key to providing support for the systems in place. Taxation without representation does not build unity amongst our people.  We believe in a fair tax system.  Abolish the old system and create a KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) tax system so all participate.  We believe all citizens that are productive should contribute some portion of tax to the system at large.
