RESOLUTION

OF THE

VOTING MEMBERS OF

Americans for Integrity in Government, LLC

            Pursuant to the Texas State Statues which authorizes the Members of a limited liability company to take action with or without a meeting if the action is taken by all Members and the action is evidenced by one or more written consents describing the action taken, signed by the Members, and included in the minutes or filed with the company records reflecting the action taken, the following resolutions and actions are hereby adopted by the members:

PURPOSE OF MEETING

 “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.-  We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.- That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -“  These were the words of our founding fathers that precluded the writing of the Declaration of Independence.

 We recognize that these sentiments expressed by the original thirteen colonies are more relevant today than ever before in these great states of the United States of America.  Our position is not one of separation, but one of representation.  We are not advocating independence, but rather a return to the principles our founding fathers so masterly crafted into the Constitution of the United States.

 The seriousness of the day is due to the violation of our trust by our elected officials.  We do not take this undertaking lightly.  For the sake of all concerns, present and future, a return to a government of the people, by the people and for the people must occur.  We will be unyielding in our pursuit, advocating civil disobedience as allowed under the first amendment of the US Constitution while recognizing our right to keep and bear arms for the defense of the people against the Federal Government.

 These resolutions are intended to rekindle the fires of the morally just and give the government back to those that are governed, not unlike two hundred and thirty-three years ago.  Our goal is to prevent the desire and need from dissolution of this union, as well as to redirect the anger of the people to a non-violent resolution.

  “A decent respect that they should declare the causes that impel them to separate”, accordingly, we declare as justification for this action the following:

 If there was a fault with the Constitution of the United of States of America, it would the founding fathers underestimation of the corruptible side human nature.  They believed that the people chosen to govern would always serve with selfless actions, void of any desire or appetite for personal gain, that common good would be the rule of the day.

 We submit the following for consideration: 

(A)      Preamble to the Constitution of the United – “WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNTIED STATES, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Untied States of America.       

        The unadulterated self-indulgence of our elected few has perverted the      Legislative process to  the point that the “union is no longer perfect”, “domestic tranquility is in jeopardy”, our enemies and non-citizenry enjoy more defense than the citizenry, “general welfare” has been interpreted to be all things to specific groups at the cost of a few, “blessings of liberty and the prosperity they provide” are under attack due to the oppressive and irresponsible legislation Congress continues to     approve;   

(B)      Article – Section IV – Every state in the union shall be guaranteed a Republican Form of government.  Federal legislation requiring unfunded Federal mandates has and continues to undermine state’s rights.  The Constitution promises protection from invasion, but we would argue that “invasion” occurs in many ways; 

(C)      Article V – Section V: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.  The United States is under war declaration with two different Countries and an undeclared, ever present war with terrorism.  The continued funding of terrorist states in the name of “aid” is tantamount to treason. 

(D)     Taxation without representation.  Congress continues to jeopardize the financial security of this country and in turn its people by deficit spending, entitlement growth and lobbyist pandering for personal gain.   

WE RESOLVE, FIRST AND FOEMOST, 

 “WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTENS US ”, Phil 4:13.  Our strength comes from the only living God.  Our purpose is consistent with His truth.  Our goal is not to impose our faith on anyone individual, but rather through example as He showed us, spread the message of hope, love and compassion for all concerns.  Prayer will be our shield, our direction will be God’s direction and we will prevail in our endeavors if it is His will.  We recognize the good in human nature that only comes from God while understanding the parallel opposite of evil that exists in every human being.  This absence of God is our acknowledged adversary.  For those Americans with differing faiths we would seek common ground.  We believe every American can acknowledge the Judeo Christian Moral Values that our founding fathers wove into the fabric of every aspect of the American way of life can bind us all with the objective of instilling INTEGRITY BACK INTO OUR POLITICAL PROCESS. 

WE RESOLVE THAT OUR NAME SHALL BE; 

“AMERICANS FOR INTEGRITY IN GOVERNEMENT” 

WE RESOLVE THAT OUR CREED SHALL BE, 

“GIVING GOVERNMENT BACK TO THE GOVERNED” 

WE RESOLVE,  

            AMERICANS FOR INTEGRITY IN GOVERNMENT will pursue the following Initiatives to effect positive change in the political process; 

TRANSPARENCY, INTEGRITY and HONESTY 

We demand Transparency, Integrity, and Honesty in those that are elected to do the peoples’ business.  The focus will consist of multiple measures to educate the electorate, monitor legislation, enact and enforce Campaign Finance Reform, expose lobbyist pandering and any other means deemed necessary to expose the individual greed and corruption that threatens the American way of life.  We will pursue legislation that will stop “SPECIAL INTEREST” earmarks that benefit a   single group.   Only those projects that demonstrate a National interest will be viewed as acceptable.   We will demand debate and an accounting of every appropriation bill before a vote in order to educate the voter of the issues at hand.  Spending Bills that do not provide for   Common Defense, National Infrastructure Initiatives or Nationally Warranted Projects will be scrutinized as to their purpose and their originator; 

REINSTATEMENT of the REPUBLIC FORM of GOVERNMENT AS

PROMISED BY THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES

(STATES RIGHTS) 

Unfunded Federal Mandates, overreaching legislation, and partisan politics undermine the ability of every state to govern its people with the consideration given the uniqueness that encompasses every states makeup.  We will pursue initiatives at the state level to force the states to take back their responsibilities that have been voluntarily or involuntarily given to the Federal government;   

FAIR TAXATION FOR ALL 

Simplification of the tax code is paramount in regaining the public trust.  All methods of taxation will be reviewed, with no one sector, industry, or individual being given special consideration.  Those methods of taxation that provide for the common good will be identified.  Taxpayers will no  longer be asked to subsidize, via the tax code, corporate business practices that are contrary to good business practices. A review of those “speculative vehicles” permitted in today‘s trading of securities  will be performed with the goal being to place business fundamentals back into the investment and trading processes.  We will seek a pay as you go philosophy. 

These initiatives will be fulfilled unless compelling rationale can be shown by the elected that they would be a detriment to the common good. 

We, prayerfully, submit this RESOLUTION on this day MARCH 20, 2009 to our Lord and Savior for consideration,
